I'm almost positive that WLOS was carrying
ABC News at 6:15. What I find interesting
is that, after the cancellation of Camouflage
in November 1962, WLOS never ran another
network show at 12:30 until Funny You Should
Ask in the 1968-69 season. I remember when
WSPA, the CBS affiliate, ran Treasure Isle in the
summer of '68 at 9 AM...and this was on ABC
at 12:30!

Addendum: WLOS's scheduling of Discovery
reminds me of WVEC's with Where The Action
Is about three and a half years later. Both
shows were on ABC at 4:30 (Discovery moved
to Sunday mornings in the fall of '63), and both
ended up at 8 AM in their respective markets
(Discovery in Asheville, Action
in Norfolk). The scheduling of Discovery at that
time makes a little more sense, but even there
the show was geared more to older kids and not
to the Captain Kangaroo crowd.

With General Hospital debuting at 1 PM on April 1
(and, IIRC, Day In Court moving to 2:30), did
Divorce Court move to 1:30? (Note: I remember
when it pre-empted One Life To Live in the summer
of '68, before WLOS started carrying The Flintstones
at 3:30 for several years.)
