I wonder if the "Mayor of a major U.S. City" on "Today" was in fact the Mayor of Seattle at the time, since a test flight of the Boeing 747 was scheduled there for that day (and was to receive live TV coverage over KOMO-4, KING-5 and KIRO-7).
