The publication's listings format was a bit strange...lumping WTEN's listings on one page at the front, then full 7-day listings for WCAX/WPTZ/WRGB/WMTW, and then shoe-horning the Quebecois channels' listings on to 2 pages in the back :p

Two notes:

(1) "Cavalcade Of Sports" that week carried bowling. Almpost always, the show carried live professional boxing matches, often from Madison Square Garden in New York City.

(2) Neither of the NBC affiliates listed in Vermont Video Guide carried Jack Paar's "Tonight Show", which was broadcast from 11:15 P.M. to 1 A.M.

To save line charges, could NBC have not fed Paar to some smaller affiliates?? I could understand WPTZ-5 not getting the show for that reason, but Albany/Schenectady was a much bigger market. Or was WRGB offered Paar but passed, and another station in the market ran the show instead?? In Boston, the old WHDH-5 and not then-NBC station WBZ-4 carried Paar from November, 1957 (when the station went on the air; prior to that, Paar was not seen on any Boston station) until he left and in fact carried Johnny Carson until September, 1966.
