This was about three months before a big network affiliation shakeup in the Twin Cities, which saw KSTP-5 go from NBC to ABC, KMSP-9 go from ABC to being an independent station, and WTCN-11 (now KARE) go from being an independent to NBC.

WCCO-4 was probably the big winner, as they didn't change affiliation. They stayed with CBS (and in fact, CBS now owns the station).

WCCO probably got CBS stars (and maybe even Walter Cronkite?) to do promos in advance of and during the shakeup in which they probably said something like "I'm/We're not going anywhere" and/or "I'm/We're still on Channel 4".
