The Fonz's kemo sabes want to lasso his idol the Lone Ranger for an appearance at Fonzie's birthday party. The Masked Man is played by John Hart [who shared the role with Clayton Moore in the 1949-61 TV series].

This was around the time when Clayton Moore was forced to wear sunglasses instead of the trademark mask, due to the dispute on who had the right to wear it, stemming from the 1981 film flop starring Klinton Spilsbury as the masked man.
