10:30 AM on channels 8 and 10 should be The $10,000 Pyramid. It didn’t go $20,000 until January 1976 (it was on ABC at that time, having moved in 1974).

Seems I remember the West Virginia edition being available in Southern Ohio (this would have been early 90s). That edition also listed KET (Kentucky Educational Television)

Another brain fart - thanks ccook55! I should have a Saturday or Sunday listing up soon. This came from the same eBay seller in Georgia who's been selling old '50s/'60s/'70s TVGs like hotcakes lately. This is my 4th 'Fall Preview' issue in my collection - the others are 1980 (North Dakota), 1986 (Kansas City) and 1996 (Puget Sound Cable).
If I win the auction, this woman is also selling a 1979 Fall Preview issue and the auction ends Tuesday night.
Also, anyone know what happened to the 'WNOW' cable-only indie in Parkersburg? Seems odd that TV Guide allowed their listings in a statewide edition. It was probably operated by their local cable system and NOT by WTAP. Now Parkersburg has Fox and CBS on low power digital stations in addition to NBC from WTAP.

I was in 7th grade living near Wheeling, WV at this time. Thanks for the memory! :)

Not a true statewide edition, as WDTV and WSTV (now WTOV) were missing despite the other station in each of their respective markets being listed

This was a year before 'GMA' debuted, so ABC still didn't have a competitor to 'Today'. That 'Police Surgeon' show has been airing on Antenna TV. The production values are not high, to say the least, but they did all right with the small budget they had. 'Adam 12' and 'Cannon' in prime time. Good times on TV!
