Wow! What a reunion luncheon. 30+. See what you missed, in stills and on video !!

Click here for the reunion page, which includes the link to the video:

http://www.walkerpub.com/radio_dillard_reunionlunch4.html

The video is a total of 9 minutes long. The first 7 minutes has 30+ radio folk chattering. Don't even try to follow the conversations - everybody's talking at once. Just enjoy seeing who you recognize. Enjoy Beth Fury showing off her GROUPIE t-shirt! ;-D

The last 2 minutes are stills of each attendee with their name. Our cast and credits!

*** You need a PC or Mac running OSX, plus a high-speed processor and a broadband (fast) connection to watch the video. Plus Flash. If you don't have Flash, click on the link at the top of the page for a free Flash download on PC or Mac. But most computers have it already unless they're really old.

Enjoy. It's well worth 9 minutes of viewing. And see ya at Cap's in the Spring.

Incredible. This video becomes Radio History. The Lunch was so excellent. Your video captures all of that and more. You're still doin' Great Radio! Thanks, Bob!

Thank you, Don, Cap and Beth!

And Beth, I guess I got it right because I have a cousin named Darryl Delerno. To a restaurant lover like you the name DELERNO should ring a bell. Metairie? Focis St.? I think my aunt still lives above the restaurant. Henry will vouch for this. lol

Cheers!

She is still there. I see her at the Post Office frequently.

Thanks for the movie, Bob! Thanks for a great time, Cap!

Yep great movie Bob, almost like I was there ... almost cause I'd probably gain a few pounds just smelling some of those po-boys.

Personally I never attended cause not being in NOLA radio (even though I've been a part of this forum for 5 years) Kind of makes me feel like an outsider..... But I figure a few on here I know will twist my arm to try and make the next one.

Thanks again for the candid shots

Bob,

Thanks for sharing the fun of these gatherings with the rest of us. Very cool to see several jocks present I've listened to over the years including Beebe, Jim Hanzo and JD the DJ.

Keep up the good work!

Great Friends, good food, and tons of bullsh1t. Just kidding. It was a great time.

I see I had missed another great time, thanks to a Halloween trick. Seems my Kia found a pothole in Lafayette on Friday, which forced me to ride that little tire home to Denham Springs. Unfortunately, the only Kia dealership that had a rim to replace the one I bent in two places was in Lafayette and I needed to get it right away, so I putted my ass back to Lafayette on that spare on Saturday. Got back too late, so I see I missed some of my former co-workers there(Dainya, Clancy, Cap, and Bernie) and wanted to see some other of you guys I listened to over the years. I will have to make the next one.

I'd buy and hang the picture in my office if you folks had your tops off. I'm talkin goose bumps all over my body for that picture !
I say take another picture and you folks can bank a fortune. Who wants to be Mr January for the new photo op ???

Hmm Not a good idea. geesh now I cant get the picture out of my head. We could have a "count the wrinkles" contest. It's best that we all stay demurely dressed.

Yeah maybe you're right. I saw it as a way to help everyones 401K plan after the economic hit. I looked at the picture and saw it not as a cheap marketing ploy to fill our pockets full of money but as a potential "work of art".....you folks think about it and get back to me. I see millions $$$$....... lil paint brush....nice lighting......jus a touch of makeup......new outfits and bingo ! ....

Whose in ? I know Banks and Courtney would do it.

You must be psychic, V. I actually flashed someone with a camera there. ThangabeutyItellya!

Some Saturday if you get the hankerin' to go to Slidell I'll meet you there and introduce you to a neat piece of New Orleans radio history and some super grub.

I was behind the camera for that shot. I was actually trying to get Dainya Jay to introduce us to her buddies. And then, it was off with Banks' shirt and the camera freakin' jammed. Lucky I didn't catch that. You're a sick dog. Had anybody seen that, they'd lost their lunch and Cap woulda been cleaning up.

Let's get "V" over at the 'Ugly Dog' for some lunch. That's just down the street and he wouldn't have any excuse.

Bo and I went to Ugly Dog a couple of weeks ago for the burgers and after one bite sent them back for a beef sandwich. The hamburger meat tasted and smelled a little "off", like it had been sitting in blood too long. Not good, but then there's always the briskit...

Let me know if y'all go to the Ugly Dog. I love their chili and have not been there in a while. I can walk there from work anytime.

Just curious - I've never heard of the Ugly Dog. Where is it located? According to Don it sounds like it's a ... how did Jerry Reed say it in Smokey & The Bandit ... a "choke and puke" ?
