I worked at a station with a CRL processor and reverb unit. Are they still making these? Can anyone recommend a good AM processor for good, clean sound out of an equalized phone line and a reverb unit as well?
Thanks for the help.
I know reverb tank units were available at Antique Electronic Supply in Tempe AZ.
I am using one of these Hammond spring units on an AM and love it.
It's just the spring unit with the driver/pickup coils. You'll have to add your own amp to drive it and another to amplify the output
to post mix back into your audio. I feed mine into a seperate input on my modulator that was designed for a hi impedance mike,
and drive the spring with an old McGohan tube amp I had lying around gathering dust.
Processing is very subjective, read some of the threads on the engineering board and you'll find several flavors all with their own
fan clubs.
