I know I'm not in Monroe anymore but I have been reading these post that everyone is posting and wanted to throw my 2 cents in.
The top 4 positions in Monroe belonged to the Radio People...congratulations! Their only stations left were their AM stations. Up or down, sideways or backwards, they are the dominant station group in the market.
I am very disappointed in Opus. They have made changes just like the two past owners all hoping to take a piece of the pie away from the Radio People. Sunny 98.3 is their only "ray of light". Someone, time, circumstance has managed to "crumble" Rock 106. The Party has been a "flop" and has had zero impact on the Beat. KMYY Country lost to a station in Ruston...ouch. I couldnt think of anything corny for the country station. Oh well.
To the Opus staff and owners...what happened? What changes will be made since it is obvious that there are problems that must be solved? Maybe I am wrong...is the revenue there despite the ratings?
Thats it for me...
