Revolution on NBC

My interest in this show has wained over the past few weeks so personally I really don't care one way or another what happens.

One suggestion I would have for the writers is to incorporate into the show that power has finally been restored and there is an all-out war between Monroe's empire and the other factions for control of the USA.

Something has to be added since Danny's rescue.

I was fairly meh on the show at the start, but held on long enough for it to grow on me. Now that Danny's back with the family, and Monroe's got a way to turn some of the power on, the show really changes direction.

However, it's off the air for about four months. That's probably a pretty bad sign, a hiatus for a show that's not a ratings powerhouse usually leads to bad things.

Ever since I heard about the winter hiatus I have pretty much ignored the show and I think I am not the only who did that same thing.

What the heck is NBC thinking? Their highest rated show on Monday nights in a long time and they put it "on break"? They just killed the show.

You have to remember this is the same network (NBC) that gave us the Leno-Conan fiasco a few years ago.
Personally I don't see "Revolution" going past a second season unless there is a major overhaul in the writing.

Don't you mean as far as a second season?

I'm not crazy about the show any more, but any progress toward getting the power back on or explaining why it went out is a positive.

I haven't seen it this week. Unfortunately, the Panthers were scheduled to play "Monday Night Football" (Yay! They finally won again!) and my NBC station was obligated to carry the broadcast. I saw a commercial explaining how to see "The Voice" and "Revolution". Amazingly, they aired "Revolution" last night at 7. That's two nights in a row of offending "Wheel of Fortune" viewers. I was fortunate to have another station for "Jeopardy".

But that's a bad thing when you're about to go on hiatus.
Just a note: they had a crawl halfway through directing people to the .2 channel. I finally saw the episode after taping it. I used VHS since it's already set up to tape the show, but I made sure it didn't record automatically past 7:30 when it would have picked up the episode I wanted, but not the rest of "Revolution".

The show will be , if it hasn't already been, renewed for this entire season (when ever the hell that is) but next full season I think if the writing does not improve then the show will be cancelled.

What you're saying is that in 2013-14 no new episodes will be made. That's what I mean by a second season.

I've learned to take such fate talk like this from this board with a fine grain of salt. Let's not forget, we're the same crowd who A MILLION MOONS AGO said that MyNetwork TV, ION & The CW would ALL be history. Guess what - They're all still around

So unless I see an article announcing the cancellation of Revolution (Or any other show people here will/should be cancelled), I shall expect it to return sometime next year :)

Cheers & 73 :D
