Rewind 100.3 and more current hits

Anyone else notice Rewind slipping in a current or fairly current hit, once an hour maybe? Maybe more? Looks like a reaction to i101. Thoughts on the "80s and 90s" station?

They've been switching between new songs & songs from the early 2000's for over a year now. They still play less 90's music. It seems their main focus is more on 80's & 2000's with 70's sprinkled in here & there, & 90's even less. If Merlin weren't run by Randy Michaels, i101 could beat rewind 100.3 in the ratings by keeping a consistent format. While many are complaining that the 2000's are in the playlist, I however don't have a problem with most of the music that has been added. I personally like to hear new songs from time to time. For the 90's songs that they do play, some 90's songs don't get played on rewind or WTMX at all, like Baby Got Back from Sir-Mix-A-Lot or Feels Good by Tony! Toni! Toné!. I know there more, but I can't think of those songs right now. I do find it odd that they have on occasion played Living On A Prayer by Bon Jovi or Rio by Duran Duran, & those are 80's songs (these 2 were more common during the first 30 days of i101, along with Miss You Much by Janet Jackson, another song that charted in the 80's).
