I'm not sure when this happened but the over-the-air signal on 103.7 here in town has dropped "The Oasis" moniker is now branded as "Rewind 103.7" but is still playing the same music mix of R&B, Soul, and Pop ranging from 60s Motown to early 2000s hits. However searching through social media and Google I found absolutely nothing on this format. Everything related to 103.7 here directs to the previous smooth jazz format that is now an internet stream. There does not appear to be any live stream or anything for the current format unlike the other Vanguard stations. I wonder why they haven't done much to promote this format over the last year?

Simple answer, and this post will be everything I can say in public.
Both KOAZ and KYLZ (101.3) are operated under a LMA. I was asked late last year, in my capacity as consultant for all stations Don Davis owns in New Mexico, to develop the format currently heard on 103.7 and to record liners and song tags for afternoon drive. About a month ago, the LMA party decided to run the format by themselves, and essentially duplicated everything I had put in place under the new branding.
I got paid for the work I did by the LMA party and take it as a compliment that they are continuing the format. They were (and are) responsible for creating a stream, promoting the station, etc., and they obviously have not.
