"KFYO Radio talkshow host and reporter Rex Andrew has decided to get into politics—as a candidate. Rex Andrew says he will be running as a Republican in the March primary for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1in Lubbock County."

And, all this time I thought that Chad was joking...
 
If memory serves me right he held a political position many moons ago here? Is that correct?

I love hearing Rex' Texas. He does a real good job anchoring news reports, also.
