RFD-TV Gets Into Paid Programming

It seems that after RFD-TV has promised no paid programming, they are planning an one-hour infomercial featuring the Mr. Pillow guy and his success story which is about as interesting as everything else they advertise on TV or sell at Wal-Mart and Dollar General and make infomercials out of those.

If it was me, I would add some more country music programs instead of an one hour advertisement for a pillow which may or may not do what is supposed to do and is something that's not $19.95 but less than that and cheaper pillows may do the trick.

I wonder if this merger with Rural TV and FamilyNet might have something do with this starting up infomercials on RFD-TV since they basically carry the same programming.

I wonder if they are doing a "TBS" by planning one hour of paid programs a week? I know TBS just started doing that. This week's infomercial is one hour long and is marketing some hot tub.
