Big Gainers.....
KTEX- Country done right
KKPS- Tejano's not dead. At least in the Valley it isn't
KESO-XHRR- I fought La Ley and La Ley won
KQXX- Amazing how well this station does considering half the valley can't hear it

Big losers......
KBTQ---Recuerdo has too much competition
KVLY---Can "Jack" or one of his relatives be making a visit soon?
KNVO--Has the love gone out of "Romantica"?
KZSP/KJAV--"The valley's old school" needs to be dismissed
KVNS---at least they didn't get 0.0 this time

Undetermined...........
KBFM-- I thought the demise of "the Beat" would have given "wild" a big boost. Didn't happen.
KBUC/KVJY- Hard to figure, since they are 2 totally different stations now
KHKZ--little by little, they are cutting into KVLY's audience.

KBUC had a one point four and KVJY had a one point zero

(let's hope the moderator won't delete these numbers, ;D)

If that's the case, that's a pretty good jump for KBUC, which happens to be a station I like. Despite the fact that they are all-satellite and the signal is terrible in Brownsville/Port Isabel/SPI

25-54, the target, it changed less than half a point... and is #3, after KGBT-FM and KTEX. Remeber, in the previous book, only 7 weeks were Recuerdo, so there was a big 12-24 and 18-34, while now it is a 25-54 format, having over triple the audience of its ONLY competitor, Lupe.

They don't compete against KGBT, KKPS, Digital, Romantica and La Ley?

Not directly. The only direct competitor is Lupe. KKPS and KGBT and La Ley are not even targets, Digital is way to young, and Romántica is not significant.

As I said, the target 25-54s were essentially flat.

the beat flipping in the rgv DID give wild a big boost...they are the #1 station now! and recuerdo has only dropped since that happened.
