RHODE SHOW ANYONE?

Auditions were yesterday for Fox's Rhode Show. Wonder if anyone in radio auditioned. As long as you're not an employee of FOX, parent company, etc you were eligible to audition. There's a youtube clip on the PRO FM website with Tony Bristol and Jessica on what and what not to do for your audition but to my knowledge the station is not involved in any way. By the way the annual salary is $30K and it's a one-year job only but at least it's gas money. So did anyone audition? If nothing else it's something on the resume for those who want to break into TV.

This post should be on The New England TV Board. Not The Providence Radio Board. As far as Tony Bristol goes. He has been in radio many years. And he knows radio very well. But not television. And this is not a slam to anyone here. But who would want advice on how to audition for a tv show. From a girl who worked in promotions & now is a "jock"? Leave the what & how's of television to Gene Valicenti & Karen Adams.

Power, Tony has done a number of forays into TV in the past-hosting a video show on the old WNAC (pre Fox) and if memory serves me right, might have had some work on the old V66 (but I might be confusing him with someone else at the moment) among others and Jessica has branched out into TV as well recently with some on cam appearances and advertising.
Just because you don't like them or the fact that someone might want to know if someone who currently or used to work in radio auditioned for the spot (which you'd find here, not on the TV board) does not mean that the topic isn't relevant. Good topic, was actually wondering the same thing myself (someone like Frank O'Donnell-former mornings at Kix/Hot 106).....

Tony is one of the judges for the contest. By the way this got me thinking. Do you realize of the entire ex WSNE morning team of Joanie, Chuck, Brian, and Jessica that Jessica is the only one still in radio?
