I can't believe no one has posted anything here about that. Both worked at WABX and other stations. I interned for WRIF when Rhonda was there - she was one of the few jocks genuinely nice & respectful to the interns!

I worked with Rhonda too back in the 80's, I'm in Tennessee now and I cant believe I didn't know about this!!!

I was sorry to hear about Paul Christy's passing. I did not know Rhonda Hart, but always heard good things about her.

I know that WABX's rock fans will wince at this (and is not meant to detract from the greatness of the AOR format), but Paul's Top-40 format in the early 80s at 'ABX was very innovative, maybe the first mainstream format in the country to feature the "new wave" artists of that era like Duran Duran, Psychedelic Furs, etc. The playlist borrowed heavily from "rock of the 80s" stations like KROQ.

I remember Rhonda Hart when she was on Young Country back in the late 90's. I met her while I was DJ'ing at the old Hoover Roadhouse in Detroit, and the station was doing a live broadcast from there. Class act.
