Rhy/AC in Cinci/Dayton

Would Rhythmic AC work in the Cincinnati-Dayton area? I think it could work well especially in audience. Radio 941 should have done it a long time ago. I could see Dayton getting it as well. With the right advertising and music, it could give 945, 1077, and 1029 a harder time.

Both markets already have Rhythmic AC stations, WROU in Dayton and WMOJ in Cincy. The original WMOJ did well with Jammin' Oldies, the current version is more straight-up Rhythmic A/C.

Those are not rhythmic AC's... both are indeed Urban AC

I just don't see it ever happening in either Cincy or Dayton...Not on a Main Signal, but maybe on an HD subchannel. 107.7 doesn't need any more problems...Fly 92.9 is giving them migraines as we speak. ;D

Urban AC is basically a R&B station w/o the rap. Core artists such as Mary J. Blige, Eric Benet, Jaheim, and more. Rhythmic AC is what the MOViN formats are. Core artists such as Madonna, Usher, Timbaland, and more. Rhythmic AC is the dance tracks from the late 70's to now. Some stations lean more current, some more older.

Urban AC is 60's-NOW usually consisting of slow jams.

Good enough?
