Maybe Mix can flip to classic rock, then Q107 will be forced to play more currents which will cause Edge to go FM talk, then 640 would abondon talk to go all news, then 680 will flip to Jazz, then CJRT will go hot AC then Chum will go soft AC, causing CHFI to flip to CHR and battle Z103 for the top CHR in Toronto, and Z103 would then have to go classic hits and Jack would become all financial news, and EZ Rock will be number one. Then 1050 Chum would return to all sports and the Fan 590 will become classic polka. Done.
Let's give it a rest. Please.

FYI: FM talk, for most of Canada, on a Commercial FM, is still illegal.
CJRT(Jazz FM) is not open to a format change due to current CRTC regulation regarding that station...and it wasn't all that long ago that "Member supported" Jazz FM went through pure HELL to get CRTC aproval to increase the(so few) number of ad minutes per hour...to a level that is STILL insanely low.
1050 learned their lesson the hard way. They will continue to keep the oldies computer running, with one live morning show, for, what will seem like forever.

There's a French FM talker in Montreal on 98.5 FM, and it plays AC music as well. Here are Canada's hot talk stations:
Toronto: Mojo 640
Vancouver: CFUN 1410

NO, but when it was Mojo, the radio announcers loved to talk alot about the mojo models...and they were HOT...therefore making it Hot talk... (-;
