Rhythmic AC in Mobile/Pensacola

With the success of MY 107.3 and Magic 106.1 I think it is time for the big guys to pull the plug on one the poor performers in the market, and go for it.
If you were going to do it. Which station would you choose. Please no comments on switching to "Jack" Gospel or AAA, or some form of rock or country. Just on this format. Think about it.... Urban, soft rock, and top 40 is doing well in the market. Wouldn't this shake things up and pull demos from these three formats?? <P ID="signature">______________

Are you F-ING kidding?? First off Magic is just terrible. As for My 107.3, Give them a year they'll change formats AGAIN. Mainstream AC is very successful right now in the industry. But the Mobile/Pensacola market has waaaay too many AC/Hot AC formats right now. We don't need another! FM Talk would be perfect. The 2 top AC in this market is definatly Soft Rock 94.1,I wish them the best losing a good PD/midday star. Really decent am Show there with Trey & Valentino And MY 107 is a close 2nd. 99.9 is just (yaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwn)
TK101 is just SOLID...
This market needs another Rocker to go against them and or Classic Rocker(96.1)Love the midday Chick on 96.1 done like The WAVE in Myrtle Beach in SC, THAT station does Classic Rock like NO other in the country I have ever heard.

Though this is the Alabama board, that last statement got me thinking. Anybody know how WJLQ 100.7 "Q-100" is doing in Pensacola? I figure it gets kinda lost in battling 107.3 and 94.1. <P ID="signature">______________

Duh? Mainstream AC targets a female demo, and has been the number 1 format for years. How bout' something with a dance lean. A "Rhythmic AC" would steal alot of that audience from all the stations hovering with the same share book after book. with both young and older demo's

A: Yes they both are very sleepy and boring. Why not shake things up.

Only rock/alternative in the market. Every "far out dude" is listening

Q:Why another Rocker, in the daytime the rocket sounds just like the way arrow used to sound. With some exceptions. Plus the Rocket usually stays flat in most books.

Things that make you go HMMMMMMM....Think about it.
