"On the morning I monitored, ...WKDF had 10 songs that hour vs. seven on WSIX’s Bobby Bones Show." Versus a total of 27 songs recently.
I have never understood why PDs, djs, (or radio consultants-and i apologize in advance to saying this: "RCs: the worst thing to happen to radio") think people listen to music stations to hear people talk. 92.9 in the morning was terrible on this. Lucky if you heard 7 or 8 songs an hour.

It depends on the time of day. In the linked article, Brooke Taylor played 14 songs in an hour.

One of the most common complaints I read on this board is how radio is becoming a jukebox with no human interaction. But as I said, it depends on the time of day.

Meanwhile, Tibbs is still waiting for KDF to flip to rock.

...and i 'm waiting for Alt 97.5/98.3 to return. Maybe on a 25-watt directional am?

And nearly all of those have probably been in heavy rotation for a decade or longer! I no longer listen to them, but I am still amazed when I am out somewhere, in some business establishment, and they have 92.9 playing, and they are STILL playing songs that they were playing back when I was still listening to them!

Still waiting for KDF to flip, BigA? IT HAS in my messed up mind already. That's why the ratings are so good. They'll screw it up and the 3's will return. It is interesting, being ser--ous for a rare minute, that 95.5 has become the old ratings of KDF. If it were my ship, that would be really tough to accept the WSM call letters to be the floundering country station. Meanwhile, I am anxiously awaiting the return of an AM station, too.
