RIBA Flooding Relief Telethon on Friday 4/16

Saw on WLNE tonight that there will be a telethon from 4-11:30 PM on Friday.

Does anyone have any more of the details on this?

I imagine WPRI will be on board, as well. WNAC, too.
Yep both are.

And probably WLWC and WSBE, and maybe WRIW if it is RIBA doing it.

WLWC I don't know, but seeing that it's being held at WSBE's studios, I would say WSBE is carrying it.

No one is sure of the format or what is happening with it.

I also imagine several radio stations will also be involved. Especially WPRO 630.

According to wpri.com, the numbers to the call center will be broadcast on participating stations between 4 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. The stations will broadcast from the call center throughout the evening, but their normal programming will air. So I'm assuming the only broadcasting will be done during newscasts, and maybe WSBE will do a 1 or 2 hour special.

Ironic that the telethon ends at 11:30 PM - isn't that when WSBE signs off, anyway?
