KTLA's tech reporter, Rich DeMuro, had his first show on Saturday morning replacing the retired "Tech Guy" Leo LaPorte. I heard different segments of the three hour show and it took a little a bit to get used to.
He really did a great job, but he comes off as rather cold and dry as his past hosting duties for LePorte. DeMuro has a good rapport with the call in listeners and I liked that he gets right to the what the caller wants. What was also interesting to me was that there was more than a few calls which seemed to be originating from Los Angeles in KFI's sphere. Was it that they weren't getting the call volume that LaPorte was getting on his show?
What surprised me is that there seems to be no link to a podcast for the show, not on iHeartRadio's app or website, or anywhere....which is surprising in that one would have thought by today's premiere of the show that would have had that worked out and operating.
