Rich Marriott on Ross & Burbank / Avalanche

Did anyone else catch this interview with Rich Marriott on Ross and Burbank today (http://mynorthwest.com/11/631710/QA-Meteorologist-Rich-Marriott-analyzes-fatal-avalanche#).

CBS has covered this, NPR has covered this, and yet Rich Marriott gives the best analysis of the story on a local talk show.

Sometimes I wonder how he's been on Morning News for so many years - an older, folksy kinda weather guy (in a market where even Todd Johnson was deemed too old). But I always watch his coverage in a big weather event - he knows his stuff, and he knows how to tell the audience about it. And this was the most insightful piece on the avalanche I've heard so far.
