I think he's chosen some awkward topics. For example, he talked about the latest South Florida "teacher - student" sex case -- in this case a female teacher and a male student - and insisted it should be treated the same way as if the genders were reversed. Which to many conservatives, would sound like a "liberal feminist" position, to insist that there's no difference between the sexes. That doesn't divide cleanly along conservative-liberal positions. On the other hand, bashing Debbie Wasserman-Schultz would probably draw the red meat crowd. He could also cheerlead for Allen West -- but Joyce Kaufman's been doing that for years, to little result as far as her ratings are concerned.
