Thoughts and prayers indeed...via facebook

Rich: "Sorry for not being on the air the last several days. Early yesterday morning, my amazing wife Mary was diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia. I will be spending time with her for the near future. I appreciate any thoughts and prayers you guys could send her way. -Rich"

Very rough situation...hope it turns out for the best.
By all accounts Rich is a stand up guy, not that anyone deserves this.

He certainly is. Being a fan of the Toucher and Rich show since the days on WBCN, I feel like a close friend this is happening to. Rich posted this message on the T&R FB...according to him even Glenn Ordway gave him his support! I personally wish him and his wife and their family the best as they go through this..

"I've been truly humbled by you guys over the last few days of this difficult time for Mary. My wife and I will never be able to say thank you individually, but know that we are reading every text, every tweet, every email, and it's helping us in ways you would not imagine.

So many people reaching out, friends, co-workers, people I've never met, and many people I never expected, including Glenn Ordway, whose words under his circumstances, resonated deeply.

I've always said our listeners are the most loyal and passionate I've ever seen in radio, but in this tough time you have truly become family. Mary is the toughest woman I know, and with your prayers and support, she's gonna beat this thing. I'm certain of it. From both of us, thank you."
