In memory of Richard Quillen that died two years ago (Feb. 13, 2012). Here's audio I had on a cassette of him and the late Bill Blake, and (aka) Jim Nasium on 96.9 WXBQ. These guys were a huge part of me getting "hooked" on radio. There are more airchecks below. Some of Richard Quillen hosting the WXBQ All Request and Dedication Show are there. Plus, a clip that includes Charlie Stuchell. And my final conversation with him is below as well. I miss hearing Richard and Bill sing the good morning greeting. I would crank up the stereo to hear that in my hometown of Mountain City before heading to school. Time flies. Great memories.
