Richie and Greggo

The Fan hiring Greggo is like the heroin addict who's run out of veins ... and he looks down and sees that last big one ...

Ok...let's try something a little different. Take this deck chair and put it over there by the lifeboats, and that one right there next to the shuffleboard floor. Perfect!

Per Barry Horn: "Mondays through Fridays from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., the heart of local sports talk programming, it was The Ticket (6.9), ESPN (3.3) and The Fan (2.2). The Ticket won every hour."

The Fan should stop trying to out-Ticket the Ticket with guy talk and concentrate on out-sportsing ESPN. I would start with getting rid of Newy who has failed everywhere he has been and offering the spot to Mike Doocy, who is fantastic when filling in on The Musers. Jagger should go as soon as his contract is up. A sports station can't be taken seriously if he is doing morning drive.

Of course, they also need to stop reading fan texts every 2 minutes and taking calls about 12 different topics every segment.

Of course you do realize that most of the "fan" texts that Jagger reads (i.e. text us your funny) aren't really texts but crap from one of his prep services.

This will be like watching a NASCAR race in the rain. There will be a pile up, just a question of which lap they are into before Greggo slams into the wall.

I wouldn't know because I listen to the Musers and flip over to Mike & Mike when the Ticket goes to commercial.

Maybe one of the best analogies I have ever seen.
