This really, really sucks. Everyone, count your blessings and be careful out there.

I just received a call from a friend who was watching First Coast News, and she reported to me that Rick Baron (real name Rich Langlois) from Renda Broadcasting was paralyzed in a hit and run motorcycle accident on Friday.

Here is the link. Unfortunately, at the time of this post, the story mentions the wrong frequency. Rick Baron most recently hosted the Night Flight on Arrow 100.7, and as far as I know, was heavily involved in creative services at Renda.

If any of The Baron's family or friends is reading this, know that this "Arrowhead" and others are praying for him!

> For those of you who may not know Rick Baron, he's one of the most caring and sincere people you'll ever meet. He's always got a smile on his face and a kind word for anyone. Friday night some SOB mowed him down and drove away. A hit and run. How could anyone do such a thing. We're all praying for Rich and hope you'll all do the same. He needs everyone's help right now.

Rich came put of surgery yesterday like a champ. From what I hear he can move his arms so hopefully he will regain more use of his limbs. Renda has put together a fund on his behalf at Vystar.

Keep him in his prayers.

Best wishes to Rick and his family for a speedy and full recovery...Miracles happen everyday, and if anyone deserves one, its Rick!

I've never met Rick Baron but have heard him during my airwave scans... Just hearing everyone say what a truly nice guy he is pulls emotion out of me that I hadn't intended. Rick will be in my prayers as well.

Hi, this is Rick Baron. Thank you for your concern. Thankfully and through the grace of God I lived. I'm now in my 11th year post injury. I'm an independent quad living at home with caregiver help. My spirits are high and how I do miss radio, it was my life for 35 years.
