I'm sure the folks at Cumulus-Montgomery have taken your concerns into consideration...and are filing the proper salmon-colored documents to respond toward them.

If you don't like them, or any other show, JUST DON"T LISTEN!
That's why there are so many stations on the radio, everyone has different likes and dislikes.
I really believe some folks are in the wrong business. If you're really dedicated to the broadcasting business, try to find something Positive to say. I have been doing this for many many years...and have always known it doesn't matter what I do on the air, there's no way to please everyone!

Y-102 is a great radio station... the new P.D. has done a great job.
joey d. the afternoon jock is great!... I'd put him in any market in america and he'd pull numbers... they have worked hard.. they sound great...
the morning show does not fit.
Cumulus Montgomery is a great! Bill & Bernie know what they are doing....
If they want Rick & Bubba... then I'm sure they have done their homework and it's the right move...
I just think the show weak...

Do you honestly think they would have that show on the station just to have it on? It has to be pulling numbers, otherwise it wouldn't be on there. Think man. Besides, we're not the ones who dictate what's successful. It's the listeners that we serve. THEY are the ones who determine who has a job and who's standing in line for cheese.

Cumulus is a good company. They know what they're doing.

This is coming from a guy who is now basically just a listener. I like Rick and Bubba. I listen to them in the morning and then change the station to Way-FM/WLWI/Bama/or Mix after that. You can take them off Y-102 for all I care...I will listen to them on what ever station they are moved to.
I hate to sound like RDP (no offense), but Montgomery and this region are missing a Contemporary Christian station. Birmingham has proven, along with many other cities, that the format is a viable and potentially profitable format. Rick and Bubba would be a great fit for a CCM stations morning show if a station were to flip here in Montgomery. Side note...96.1 would be an excellent canidate.

They were on 96.1 for years before Y-102 and they had no numbers...
 
Al Stroh also had 3 crappy formats on during the time they were there and absolutely no promotion.
