Rick Dees Returns to L.A. Radio...finally

Now if someone would just put Rick back on the air in morning drive. But ...

Realistically, having this new countdown show on KXOL will make it nearly impossible for another station in the market to hire Rick for mornings. And I doubt KXOL is going to put him on Latino, other than this syndicated version.

So this isn't really great news for us Dees fans after all, although I'm glad Rick is getting the countdown gig (this new version will likely be saleable for him in some other markets).<P ID="signature">______________

Rick would like to do mornings at Latino 96.3. Currently, I think that is a pipedream but stranger things have occured in this town. He's got his foot in the door, lets see how far he can walk into the on-air studio.

And if anyone thinks Rick doing mornings at Latino 96.3 would be strange remember John London, a white guy who is white as you can get, did mornings at a station that attracted a predominately black audience. You never know.
