RICK DEES WEEKLY TOP 40 VS. AMERICAL TOP 40 WITH RYAN SEACREST

Hello, how are all of you? Thank you for your time. I always hope everything is always good with all of you. Thank you for your time right quick.

Which one do you like better and don't like? Why and why not? What may they do to make things better for (you!!!!????) Thank you for your time and have a nice day. (Oh yeah, on a Side note, for those over 25 years old-You know Shadoe Stevens still remains? He has a weekly One Hour show called "Top Of The World"-He was my favorate back in the day when he used to (also) host "American Top 40" I loved when he used to say "Your Best Friend, The Shadoe")
Anyways, who do you like better, which show? "Rick Dees Weekly Top 40", or "American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest"?

Personnally I enjoy "Rick Dees Weekly Top 40" He is maddd cool. I love his personality. The contests seems very easy to enter. I love those remixes he be playing, someone sinnging about the countdown then it kick into the regualar song, I love that, it's maddd cool. At the end of his show, he always says "God Bless You"
This guy has a good heart. He stared in the movie "Labamba" back in 1987
I wish "Rick Dees Weekly Top 40" came on here in Boston. It used to come on "Clear Channel KISS 108" But now, it comes on WXLO 104.5 Sunday mornings 7am-11am. I can barely get 104.5 on my walkman. I live in Boston. WXLO is in Worcester, Ma which is about one hour west of Boston.
Anyways, which one do you like better?
Thank you for your time

I actually prefer Rick Dees as well. I know he may be a bit cheesy and old school but he is entertaining and has a great voice and tons of energy. Ryan Seacrest just sounds like a boring liner card reader. But it seems like the younger demos prefer a more laid back, natural sound so I guess that's why he is popular. Personally, I'll take the old school, deep voice guys with tons of hype and energy anyday. To me, that energy is every bit as important as the music in a CHR format.

So I agree, I prefer Rick also. (I also love Spyder Harrison's countdown on Sirius's "Hits 1" CHR channel.

I think AT40 w/ Ryan Seacrest is WAYYYYYYYY better. Why you ask: He does the show very well. He sounds like hes professional and is not wierd...like Rick Dees. He can get corny.

I prefer Dees as well. I took an immediate dislike to Seacrest simply for the fact that he 'replaced' the legend, Casey Kasem. As far as the new AT40 show goes, its a decent show and I think fits well w/ the CHR format. But I still prefer Rick. Part of that could be cuz I can't listen to Dees where I live. The nearest affiliate is 100miles to the south. I find myself purchasing his shows on ebay to get my 'fix' even though I *know* I can listen to them online.

I know Dees is also a bit 'dated' now as is Casey but I'm pleased that XM satrad is bringing back Dee's old shows from the 80s and 90s. So I'll enjoy listening to those flashbacks on XM.

Really!? That's great news! I have always enjoyed hearing old AT40 countdowns on 80s at 8, but frustrated that it stops at 1988 (when Casey went from AT40 to Casey's Top 40). Any word on when Dees on XM might start?
