Rick Emerson's Back in Portland

Long-time Portland OR-based hot talk host Rick Emerson is back on the air in his home market, taking over the noon-3 slot on comedy talker KCMD/970 there starting March 13rd. He'll also be program director of the CBS AM station.

And since the station is named "Johnson 970", that led to this rather unfortunate pun headline in Radio & Records Online today:

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.radioandrecords.com/Newsroom/2006_03_07/rickemerson.asp>Rick Emerson Grabs Control Of 'Johnson'</a>
