Rick, Jane and Kidd

I've not heard anything, but then again I'm not in the know.

Rick was still doing announcing for TTU Athletics, the others I don't know. A "3rd Party" told me they all had a compensation package with several months left, so it may be a bit early before they reappear somewhere, and I'm of the opinion they will reappear.

No additions to that thread since late May.
 
instead of hiring Local experienced air talent that have built an audience at another station here, Ramar has gone out of their way, several hundred miles in fact, to bring in people to staff their stations, and the same could be said for wilks. it could be the non-competes, or they just don't value successful lubbock radio talent who find themselves looking for a job in this market. the last person of any note who left one station to go to another was lew dee and that was about 10 years ago. it seems to be more common in other radio markets, but not here, sorry to say but, rick, jane and kidd will find this out, if they haven't already.
