Rick O' Dell is returning to the air.

Rick O' Dell, former midday host on WNUA has been named PD/midday host on WLFM 87.7.

Pat Kelley put out a press release today. Congratulations to Rick, and a big thank you to
Pat Kelley!

Rick is supposed to start sometime in January.

Thanks Pat now let's continue to build a great radio station.

That is great news that Smooth Jazz Chicago is adding live and local talent - Now if only the web stream would be live and local too. Now playing is a very helpful feature on the website (what did they just play?) Now if only WLFM could add Artist/Title to their RBDS/RDS display...

www.877chicagosmoothjazz.com, is a very cool new website! Check it out!

Let's hope WLFM is planning for its future in terms of its frequency - Hopefully WLFM is either active in a move to expand the FM band so that when analog LP-TV channels are 'sunsetted', they will be on a permanentFM channel, either in the new expanded band or on the existing FM band.
