Rick Sanchez covering rescue on CNN

On cnn.com, I just watched a clip of
channel 7's former "if it bleeds it leads"
news guy Rick Sanchez covering the rescue.

He's good. He seems much more professional
than when he was on sensationalistic 7.

CNN probably reeled him in after seeing his airchecks from 7, and knowing he tanked at MSNBC.

That show he did on WTVJ could've been great. Just wrong timing, and reeling him in before hand maybe would've worked out better.

I only watched his interview show once, when he interviewed retired WFTL/WFUN/WQAM deejay Bob Gordon about his new book. Ir was very painful to watch.

Bob was dying to talk about WQAM and his book and Sanchez kept talking about Sinatra and the old days on Miami Beach. Un-believable!

Sanchez is much better now.

Going from top dog at 7 to being bitchboy on a loser talk show probably humbled him a little and opened him up to some self-evaluation. I haven't seen him yet, but I would like to check out the 'new' Sanchez.

No... Even his first post-7 berth (MS-NBC, I think),
before that pathetic talk show, showed he had a lot of
talent not seen on the "if it bleeds it leads" station.
I was impressed with his news reporting talents. I wish
him well.

You only Bleed Twice

Last Year I caught him talking about the "West Vile Nirus". Sent an email to Dwight Lauderdale, and that's when I found out Rick was leaving again for CNN!
