Rick!

Rick Dees is truly a radio legend. I listen to him every Sunday night in Atlanta on Star 94. I really wish FM100(Hot Adult Version) or Q107.5(Hits Version) or even Snap(Rhythmic Version) would pick up his Weekly Top 40 show. You would think this would be a no-brainer! I mean three stations have an opportunity to pick him up. I don't understand why none of them do not play him being that he was a former DJ in Memphis and all. I remember listening to him back when I was younger on FM100 Sunday nights from 8-12. What can we do to get him back on the air here in Memphis? One of my customers here in Atlanta is a close family member of his and states that he is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet.

Uhhhhhhhhh...didn't I hear him on FM 100 at 8 last Sunday morning?

Yep!

Good article in the NY Post..Way to go Rick! He just keeps accomplishing great things after all these years!

Sorry about that. I guess it's been awhile since I've been back in town. What happened to American Top 20 with Casey Kasem on FM100 from 8am-11am on Sundays? Does it still come on at all?

Would you believe that KIM is playing old Kasem shows? I was flipping channels Saturday morning and heard a show from 1972.... at first I thought they were just doing a small clip but it kept going and going.... it was actually kind'a trippy! ;D

They play the 70s and 80s version of the show. I caught both of them this weekend.

Interesting in the short run, Not so much in the long haul.

You can hear Dees top 40 from the 70's and 80's every weekend on XM. Ive saw a few complaints about the 10 dollars a month in the other thread and well if thats to much to pay for decent radio ,I just don't know what to tell ya, listen to snap and be happy ;D
