Are you trying to tell me that Mr. Richards didn't stumble across at least one aircheck that was better than this idiot?

Or maybe anyone with talent knows they don't want to work for Sgt. Hairclub.

I caught Ricker today. Anyone else notice he's lost some of that "cooooool dude" affectation in his voice?

Maybe by being more real he'll make a more genuine connection with the audience. For that demo and format I think he's a slam dunk.

Maybe they just sent him back to "DJ School" and this whole thing was a farse?

OR....(rolling virtual strawberry blunt of Sweet Mama Sativa, firing it up and taking first toke)

The Northwest stoner community has been pretty vocal about Ricker's absence. In fact, somebody was wearing a "Bring Back Ricker" T-Shirt down at Hempfest. KISW has big accounts with AM/PM and restaurants, places you'll find stoners. And they know it. They could lose those BIG accounts without a solid stoner audience.

Marijuana smokers are an important radio demographic force to be reckoned with-and served. And KISW management now finally knows what Vancouver stations from CFOX to CHQM have known. Besides, it's harvest time and there's lots of fine bud out there everywhere in every strain. And Ricker is back too.

Coincidence?

P-I says =
KISW's new 2-7 pm host is Ricker
99.9 says it brought Ricker back because of listener demand.

Program director Dave Richards said he got an e-mail as recently as
20 minutes before the unannounced return, asking what happened to Ricker.
"They've not ever stopped," he says.

Richards declined to say why KISW and Ricker,
who joined the station in 2002, parted company in June.

"We're just celebrating the fact he's back," he said.

Re: Stoners For Stoner Radio

ALOT ALOT more people than just stoners listen to Ricker. Nice argument though, it almost convinced me for a split second that you knew what you were talking about.
