Rickey Smiley Morning Show adds 2 more

Syndication One's Rickey Smiley Morning Show is on a roll in South Cak. Rumor has it sometime in the middle of the month, Rickey will go on in Columbia and Charleston. As far as Columbia, I'd be pretty sure he's replacing Big Boy's Neighborhood on HOT 103.9 since Citadel is dropping the syndicated show. Now for Charleston, this leaves me clueless. Steve Harvey on STAR 99.7 and TOM JOYNER on MAGIC 107.3 are pretty solid. Could Citadel be getting rid of Z-93's Breakfast Club Morning Show??? Hmmm, I don't know whats going on in the Chuck but something is about to change. Rickey Smiley currently airs in Myrtle Beach on POWER 100.3 and WYNN 106.3 in Florence. Both stations are Cumulus owned.

I thought WYNN had Doug Banks.

They did have Doug Banks Morning Show. Where have you been? You forgot Citadel dropped Doug Banks Morning Show and gave him an afternoon syndicated Urban AC show, "The Ride with Doug and Dee Dee." Citadel then picked up Big Boy's Neighborhood to replace Doug Banks, but now Citadel is done with Big Boy.

I don't live in the area or even listen to the music, but I never heard anything about Doug Banks moving.

My knowledge of WYNN is pretty much limited to the fact that my favorite Charlotte radio station from 1995 to 2006 could not be heard until almost Bennettsville going home, or much past Bennettsville going to the beach, because WYNN was so strong.

Rickey Smiley is on in Columbia @ HOT 103.9 as of today. Charleston is next. That'll make Greenville the only market in the state that doesn't carry Smiley's show.
