So I'm riding around this week and hear Rickey Stokes from Rickeystokesnews.com talking live about the latest happenings with Electronic Bingo on WUSD and even tells the listeners to go to his site for more . The question that I have is why would Holladay allow someone like Rickey on one of his stations who even is not on the payroll and does pay to advertise the website on any of his stations? We all know that Rickey tends to put out un-factial information out and be biased . Wouldn't this be a liability for the station? Rickey has even stated on his website and other chat sites that he is not News Journalist nor does he claim to be. It's pretty obvious from his site that he isn't with all the typos,grammer errors and biased opinons. I have noticed that WDJR,WDBT & WESP. Do not put Rickey on the air for a good reason.

Does WUSD not have a value on their station? By letting him advertise for free.

Gee, Mr. Cheeks, where do you come by your information that Stokes is not charged for his banner ad on WUSD? Possibly a former disgruntled employee? If not, what is the reason for your obsession with this issue?
Ricky, can you bring something to the table other than defending yourself? I too am curious as to why they have news break ins from a news aggregator site. I don't see a real harm, but what if a story is proven false? Can the station and Stokes be accused of slander or misinformation? Granted a DJ can give the same information or story, but would have to play it closer to the vest in giving out the information.
