Ricky The K's Solid Gold Time Machine is now available for your internet station

Re: Ricky The K's Solid Gold Time Machine is now available for your internet sta

Love the music, the old commercials, jingles, liners and reverb! Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of the "shouting DJ" shtick and would prefer a laid-back approach to announcing.

If it's going to be the authentic 1960s sound of personality top forty radio, it means djs with high energy and humor. There is no shouting on the show. There is high energy. Don't confuse the two. If you want a laid-back approach to announcing, you have 10,000 current radio stations from which to choose. Are you also on a bland diet?

Nope. I'm a meat, potatoes and pizza kind of guy! However, like I said, tone it down a bit, it causes noticeable clipping in the audio (check out Cousin Brucie on XM if you want an example of what I'd consider enjoyable on-air presentation).

Cool heads up! Think I'm gonna crack open a few myself and check out the show. '63 to '83 is right within the span of music I love most of all!
