I don't think this station has a legal right to broadcast here...true or false?

How to identify and STOP pirate stations

Here is a list of all licensed FM radio stations, LPFM's, and translators within 150 km of Miami (150 km is farther than even a maximum Class C FM station can be heard well:

CLICK HER FOR UP-TO-DATE LIST: http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?state=&call=&city=&arn=&serv=&vac=3&freq=0.0&fre2=107.9&facid=&class=&dkt=&list=1&dist=150&dlat2=24&mlat2=46&slat2=26&NS=N&dlon2=80&mlon2=11&slon2=37&EW=W&size=9

Here is a list of all current construction permits (some stations may be operating legally under such permits):

CLICK HER FOR UP-TO-DATE LIST of CP's: http://www.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/fmq?state=&call=&city=&arn=&serv=&vac=4&freq=0.0&fre2=107.9&facid=&class=&dkt=&list=1&dist=150&dlat2=24&mlat2=46&slat2=26&NS=N&dlon2=80&mlon2=11&slon2=37&EW=W&size=9

Listen at the top of the hour. If you don't hear a call sign shown on this list, go to this site and notify the FCC: http://www.fcc.gov/eb/PIRIX/

ALSO, any stations on the above list that are being affected by pirate stations (especially those licensed for the pirate station frequency or the frequency just above or below it, will LOVE you if contact their engineering department and notify them of where and when you are hearing information. Local stations have the equipment and expertise to track pirate stations (VERY easy to do) and pinpoint pirate stations in less than an hour, and FDLE has a task force that can and will put pirate operators in jail in as little as a few days time.
