Ridgecrest Radio

For a city of 28,000 people - Ridgecrest is both an armpit of the world it seems and I can't say much about it's bush league radio. What gives?
Are there any decent station in that part of the High Desert? What do you think of the country station, KKYT in particular?

When I was there last, local radio was about what you would expect for the population and the location. Forunately there were lots of translators of LA stations so I could listen to something.

I know this market all too well.

Country - The Coyote 93.7
Country - 92.7
Top 40 / CHR - 100.9 The Heat
Rock - 102.7 KSSI

That's about it.

I listened to 100.9 and 93.7 last time I was there.

Typical small market radio.

It looks like this thread is about as dead as Ridgecrest Radio. :)
