This is great news. I hope they don't give him too much clutter to deal with -- that's the problem with his morning show on KABC. When he did overnights (Red Eye Radio) he had plenty of time to develop ideas and was hugely entertaining. They should also let him pick his own bumper music. He's a jazz fan and his enthusiasm about the music in courageous. He'll be based out of LA but he knows NY pretty well. Starts Wednesday.

I agree, I wish Rita wanted to stay during the week, but I will be tuning in on the weekends.

She is one of the most talented women in radio today.

Doug is sounding good! I wish he had the freedom from time constraints of his old Red Eye Radio but given it's in afternoon drive the show isn't overly cluttered. I think it will be a good listen. What a breath of fresh air to have a creative host with original thoughts and an authentic sense of humor in that time slot!
