Right on the mark!

You make a point that we all know is a very big problem in radio today, the question is how do we get the radio industry to change it and going back in the right direction. also on your comment about a country station playing her music since it is a different format, the way we did it was we came on at 8:23 with the news about Whitney Houston explained that we didn't have the music right at hand due to being a country station and that we would play Dolly Parton's verson of I Will Always Love You while we down loaded Whitney's songs . By the time Dolly finished we had three of her top songs and started playing Whitney and relaying details of what happened as we heard them on CNN. We ran this for an hour and repeated with updates the next morning and after our gospel show. That may not be the right way of doing it but it was our way.
