Were those telephone problems real or was his spare hearing aid working sporactically? I finally was able to hear his Sunday program in its entirety and it wasn't pretty. After several 'telephone malfunctions', Ware talked about having a bad day, starting with a dead car battery and ending up with breaking his hearing aid. I falsely assumed that his ear surgery would eliminate any need for any hearing aids. One could hear the frustration in the guest's voices as they were repeatedly cut off, recalled, only for Ware to act like that cellphone commercial guy (can you hear me now?) and disconnect them again. At one point it seemed that the female meteorlogist was going to say some choice words over the air. After being cut off the third time she asked someone quite curtly, "What do you want me to do now?" We could hear her loud and clear, but Ware couldn't and seemed to continually blame it on the telephone. Or maybe it was the computerized telephone interface that he couldn't figure out how to use? But overall his Sunday show is just a 2 hour version of his old M-F show. I was expecting more music from the 50's and 60's that made him 'famous'. There are better ways to spend a Sunday and I wonder how much longer the BMP bean counters will let him last?
