It is a bit better than that... it is about 10% less than the inner, red circle on radio-locator.com. But it is not a Cedar Hill facility.

KESS transmits from somewhere near Denton, which is about 35 miles from both downtown Dallas and downtown Fort Worth. Most of the other DFW area rimshots are further out than that -- so, as David notes, KESS is a rimshot, but it is the best rimshot facility in the market.
