I get a real kick out of those that say that rimshots just can't compete.

I also get a real kick out of the fact that in the Arbitron Winter '08 Quarterly Report, 12+ Mon-Sun, 6a-12mid, for Dallas-Fort Worth, the #1 station was, indeed, a rimshot.

And no, this isn't a post about Dallas - Fort Worth. This is a post about rimshots (as the subject line implies).
 
Ehh. I guess that theory holds if you want to consider "The Point" a rimshot here in Houston.

KESS has a city-grade over 90% of the DFW Metroplex, whereas 103.7, 97.5, 93.3, 107.9, etc. here has city grade over 50% of Houston at the most.
