RIP Brian James

I was shocked to hear about the passing of voiceover talent Brian James recently (on 3/6). I remember hearing him as the voice for El Paso's Power 102 in the mid-late 90's. He will be missed.

Sorry for getting to this late, but this is a very very sad loss for me!
Brian did the voice overs of many stations I grew up listening to, including the one where I started in radio.
I heard Brian first back in the 1980s on WXKS FM, Kiss 108 in Boston. He was also on Q106 around the same time, and later 933'FLZ (which was also heard in San Diego during the famous simulcast). He also had a talk show on WFLA which was also heard for a few hours during the same simulcast. Finally, I heard Brian on XTRA 690 AM.

There are many good voices. But there were two big ones, Ernie Anderson who we lost years ago, and Brian James. To me there were no two greater icons in Top 40, and both are sadly missed.
