RIP Cedric James

Condolences to his family and friends. Like you, I remember hearing him in the overnights, M-F, on KWJZ in the early-mid 2000s. He was a great warm personality on 98.9 and him and the smooth jazz got me to sleep at night. Later on, KWJZ would use Steve Mills for overnights (who originally did Saturday late nights and was PD, likely voicetracked), as well as Hillary Massa (remember her?) and now with the Click format, it's now automated by a computer until 5-6AM weekday mornings.
Great smooth jazz radio personality. RIP Cedric.
